The Komaki Municipal library was designed by Atelier Zo. Zo has an office in Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Taiwan. The firm has been involved with architectural, landscape, and urban planning projects since 1971. Look at http://www.zoz.co.jp/ It’s strange when you’re reproducing a building – you start to live inside it even when you don’t understand why it works the way it does. The more I built Komaki, the more I started to understand Aimaimoko. I began to realize that architecture is about inhabiting.
